The safaris offered to you by Wilderness Safaris are renewed, fully pre-arranged cross country safaris capturing the ambiance of past time Africa. 
Not a hundred years ago, the only way to discover this extraordinary continent was by conducting an exploration.  Today, the safaris we offer you mirror these old explorations. 
Special tents made from cotton and linen, the old style materials and modern additions make sure that guests comfortably experience African atmosphere.

The tours usually go through private areas and wildlife reserves only available to Wilderness Safari's guests. Our tour guides are well-known for their passion and knowledge of the area and will accompany you from start to finish. The different ways of travel - driving, hiking, canoeing, by mokoro, by boat and by plane - ensure you get to know Africa in all its natural diversity.

Every travel schedule has been carefully composed, keeping the seasons, local wildlife and previous experiences in mind.

We can offer you two different styles of safaris:
The "Discover Safari" and the "Adventurous Safari"

The Discover Safari: Luxurious, pre-arranged mobile safari, utilizing accommodation in luxurious camping sites and permanent Wilderness Safaris Camps. Accommodation in the camping areas are new hexagonal tents, ensuring maximum comfort and astonishing panoramic views.

The Adventurous Safari: The camps are built in prominent, shadow-rich areas, close to core areas housing wildlife. These "Trail Camps" use maxi dome tents with a surprisingly large amount of space. Due to easy moving, it is possible to explore the most desolate and hidden corners of this subcontinent.
